Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 September 2026

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed through DronePhotographer.gr is Zisimos Zizos, manager of the DronePhotographer.gr network. Contact: dronephotographer.gr@gmail.com · 693 429 4040.

2. Data we collect

When you submit a project request, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, optional telephone number, project location and map coordinates, preferred date, requested service and project details. When you apply to join the network, we also collect your base location, certification, portfolio, specialties and profile photo. Technical security information, such as IP address and request metadata, may also be processed by the hosting and email infrastructure. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 processes usage information such as visited pages, searches, profile views, device and approximate location data.

3. Why we use your data

We use your data to send your request to the selected pilot, enable direct communication, monitor whether the request is handled, assist with coordination or redirect the request to another pilot if necessary, protect the service from abuse and maintain the reliability of the network.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on taking steps at your request before a possible agreement with a pilot and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the referral network. We do not use project requests for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.

5. Who receives the data

Your request is sent to the independent pilot you select. If you submit a general network request, it is first received by DronePhotographer.gr and shared with a suitable available pilot only for handling your project. DronePhotographer.gr also receives and retains a copy so that the request can be monitored and, where needed, redirected. Data may also be processed by providers supporting the service, including Sites/Cloudflare for hosting and security, Resend for transactional email delivery, Google for the network mailbox and, only with consent, Google Analytics 4 for website measurement. Map resources are provided through Leaflet, OpenStreetMap and their supporting content-delivery services, which may receive technical connection data.

6. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism permitted by the GDPR.

7. Retention

Project requests are normally retained for up to 12 months after the last relevant communication, so we can monitor service quality and assist with unresolved requests. Data may be kept longer where required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send requests to dronephotographer.gr@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

9. Security and automated decisions

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect requests. We do not use project-request data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

10. Updates

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version and its revision date will always be available on this page.

Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 September 2026

1. Operator and purpose

DronePhotographer.gr is operated by Zisimos Zizos as a referral network that helps clients find independent professional drone pilots in Greece. Contact: dronephotographer.gr@gmail.com · 693 429 4040.

2. Referral service — not a booking agency

Submitting a request does not create a booking, payment obligation or contract with DronePhotographer.gr. The selected pilot independently decides whether the project can be undertaken. Any agreement for scope, price, payment, timing, deliverables, cancellation and licensing is concluded directly between the client and the pilot.

3. Independent pilots

Pilots are independent professionals and are not employees or representatives of DronePhotographer.gr. Each pilot is responsible for maintaining valid qualifications, registrations, insurance where required, flight permissions and compliance with aviation, privacy, safety and other applicable rules. Profile information is based on information supplied by the pilot and may be updated.

4. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate information, ensure lawful access to the location, disclose relevant restrictions and agree in writing with the pilot on price, deliverables, usage rights and payment terms before work begins. Requests must not involve unlawful, unsafe or privacy-infringing activity.

5. Flight limitations and cancellation

A mission may be changed, postponed or cancelled because of weather, airspace restrictions, safety, permissions, technical conditions or the pilot’s availability. If the selected pilot cannot proceed, the client may submit a new request or contact the network so another available pilot can be considered.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DronePhotographer.gr is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, disputes, payments, deliverables or damage arising from the independent relationship between client and pilot. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

7. Website content and availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep profiles and information accurate and the website available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every pilot will be available. Site content, branding and design may not be copied or reused without permission, except where permitted by law.

8. Personal data

Use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By submitting a request, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have read the applicable privacy information.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Any mandatory rights relating to consumers and jurisdiction remain unaffected.

10. Changes

We may revise these terms as the network develops. The version in force is the one published on the website with its latest revision date.
